Lakeside Strikers FC is a initiative from a bunch of friends that were playing soccer every week for fun. After a while, we decided to professionalize it a bit more and try to play for real into the CSC league. After our first season, where we gathered a lot of new players from different nationalities, the team got alive and we're playing together since then. The name Lakeside came from a reference to our city, Minneapolis. Strikers is a reference to something lethal, like our mascot, a cougar.
