Jack Chen

Founder

Jack has been playing and watching soccer since he was six years old. After moving to MN from China, he played in various semi-competitive / casual co-ed leagues and pick-up games. With the continuous struggle to keep a consistent team and league to play in, Jack founded GoSoccer with the help of a friend, hoping to make casual grassroots soccer easily accessible to all.

Jack is also involved in the officiating world and has been a soccer referee since 2014. Jack was a state referee in 2018 and has officiated in many high school sections and state tournament games.

League Captains

The Captains help answer players' questions and manage substitutions as needed. They are here to ensure the games go smoothly on game day. They assist the referees in de-escalating match temperature when needed and are the go-to person for assistance. The Captains meet every season to improve the league and update players' skill ratings. If you have a suggestion, let them know!
