GoSoccer Weather Protocols 

The game status of all GoSoccer games is Game Day Decision. Due to the unpredictable nature of Minnesota weather, games are expected to be played even when weather models and forecasters predict storms. 

Outdoor Games 

Our games are rain or shine. We only cancel games if the weather poses a significant danger to the players, e.g., a severe weather warning, lightning, or thunder within a 10-mile radius. If a game is canceled on the day of the game, we will do everything possible to reschedule it. Once a game has started, the captains and the referees shall make the judgment call to suspend games if needed. 

Indoor Games 

Due to the nature of the dome rental contracts, games are only canceled when the facility is closed during the brutal winter months of Minnesota. During a winter storm, players should assess their safety before attending a game. We will do everything possible to work with the city to reschedule the games when a severe winter storm is imminent.
